Tell us a bit about yourself. What is the first thing you can remember making by hand? How and why did you make it?
Shirley is the yarn guru. Having the ability to look at a skein of yarn and knows what it wants to become.
Christi is a machine embroiderer and a sewing fanatic.
Shirley: I remember making from hand was a small cross stitch piece my Grandma Shirley taught me to make.

Christi: A quilt my grandmother helped me make.
What inspires you? Where do your ideas come from?
Shirley: I get ideas from every where; a trip to the store, magazines, TV shows, fashion trends. I love taking a ball of yarn and making something out of it, that still a fascination for me.

Christi: My inspiration works backwards. Instead of figuring out the finished project first, I choose a design and think about what it would work best on. I look at a lot of embroidery design websites and lean towards the more quirky side of things.
